Pastor David Rawlings

General Information:

We are an independent, Evangelical church for the deaf which seeks to carry out Christ's Great Commission of evangelism and discipleship. Since our ministry is tailored to the deaf culture, our congregation is mainly deaf with a few hearing (mainly hearing children of deaf parents) attending.

  • Each service is given in Sign Language and is simultaneously voice translated into Spanish and English.
  • Written materials (i.e. sermon outlines and church bulletins) are produced in both Spanish and English.
  • The Evangelical Church and Center for the Deaf is located in the San Juan Metropolitan area. It is centrally located in Hato Rey, near the banking and business section, in a residential urbanization. For directions, please see map.
  • The church board is comprised of deaf lay-leaders who, along with both Pastors David and Roger, seek to lead the church.

Worship Services / Bible Studies:

  • Sunday morning Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and Family Worship Service at 11:15 a.m.
  • Mid-week Bible Study service is Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m.
